The 17 colours selected are commonly found in the chironomid world in either the worm or larval stage of this abundant and popular fly-tying insect. But don't stop there as the product makes great legs and bodies on many other patterns. We even use it as legs on Backswimmers and Boatman patterns or as a rib on everything from wet flies to streamers. Buzzer Flex is a very stretchy translucent silicone rubber compound that is used to create unique chironomid worm and pupa patterns. Bill McLlroy is recognized as a great angler and producer of chironomid product materials in Scotland and the UK. He is highly developed in the chironomid world in the heart of the UK.
