The brake system consists of cork against Delrin between multi stainless steel disks that offer as soft and smooth as a drag system may ever be required. The brake can also be adjusted easily and as accurately as desired from virtually zero resistance to almost a full stop. The sealed needle bearing's high quality ensures long life.
